I beat you to the post by seven seconds, Dale. Do you know for sure that Oldenburg doesn't have lights? I've got a real good chance at being able to make that game.

Mojo: The Hauser vs Oldenburg game will be at Batesville's Liberty Park because Oldenburg doesn't have a diamond that is large enough to host fans.( That's what I heard) The game will be at 7:00 pm

Hauser wins a slugfest with Oldenburg 15-12 On to the Semistate and a game with Shakamak who beat them last year. Ross,Perkins and Jake Miller hit homeruns. Miller's was a 3 run homer in the 7th and was the deciding blow. BACK THe BLACK at Avon semi-state

Mojo: The Hauser vs Oldenburg game will be at Batesville's Liberty Park because Oldenburg doesn't have a diamond that is large enough to host fans.( That's what I heard) The game will be at 7:00 pm Yeah, I found that out the hard way... I pulled into Oldenburg at 3:45. It was well worth the wait- what a game. Hauser goes up 3-0 when Ross scorches a 340 foot three run blast... Ross starts to tire (or it may have been a blister on his hand) in the fourth, gives up a run, then it all falls apart for the Jets as Ross struggles with his control, has to be pulled and they go down 8 (or 9?) to 3 after five... All appeared to be gloomy with Fiezer on the mound (and at the plate for that matter). Fortunately Fiezer's arm was pretty much shot as well and the Twister relief pitching couldn't hold the lead. With two runners on in the seventh, Jake Miller twice tried to lay down a bunt but found himself in an 0-2 hole. Jake promptly shocked the house with a bullet down the left field line, just over the 325' sign, putting the Jets up 11-9. Hauser went on to score four more in the seventh. Hauser held on for the 15-12 win with Oldenburg sending the tying run up to the plate when the third and final out was finally made. Aryn Ross had an outstanding day at the plate and may have had as many as eight RBIs. As hard as he was hitting the ball, one of his more damaging plate appearances was when he didn't lay a bat on the ball. With Hauser down five, he leads off, draws a walk, steals 2nd and 3rd and scores the first run that starts to bring Hauser back.

That's awesome. I'm sure Blackhawk is a good team but it's good news that #1 LCC got knocked off too. My biggest concern was depth in pitching. Even though Hauser has some good young pitching beyond Ross, they're really green. Somebody besides Ross must have done an excellent job to get 4-3 and 4-0 wins.

Soph. Kyle Lawson pitched the shutout and gave up 7 hits His pitched game of the year. A great peformance by a soph.
In the first game the Jets scored all their runs the last 2 innings. They were behind 3-0
The Jet are going to play for 1a State Championship Its hard to believe but Jets finally will geta chance to be a 1 a State champion. I've waiting for this for over 40 years.!!!!
