Mojo: I was going to send you that web site but keep forgetting. Also coach Schoen usually has Hauser's score on the web site by 2 hours after game ends.

Am I missing something, Dale? I don't see scores on the website. The "Scores" button takes you to the team's W-L record and their upcoming games.

Just click on scores and then go to 1a and click and it should give all the scores and weekly schedule.

Cool. Thanks Dale (could have swore I had already tried that). It may have been that it just so happened when I did look, there wasn't an active score showing for Hauser.

I thought that last year Blake Roth was listed as a catcher. Has he been getting any playing time?

Come to think of it, when I talked to his father awhile back, I'm pretty sure he did say his boy was a catcher. With Turner back there he must not be getting much action at that position.
I was hoping to see two at Lawrenceburg Saturday to see how the team was doing but the weather didn't cooperate.
Hopefully Hauser can get a game in this afternoon at 6-4 Oldenburg and two at Jac-Cen-Del Saturday.

Mojo: Roth has caught a few innings and so has freshman Dale Raisor. The Jets need to get better pitching if they are going to have a chance to make to the regional. Triton Central has the upper hand in the conference since they beat the Jets.

Hopefully with a few games under their belt some of the young kids will be playing well. Next up- 2 at JCD tomorrow... Looks like the Eagles are going to be some pretty good competition. They just recently beat Franklin County 5-4. I just now saw where they also beat Southwestern of Hanover 4-1 a couple of days ago to go to 6-4.

In the first game which Hauser lost 3-2 Freshman Nick Long and Jr. Turner threw a no-hitter and lost, They walked 6 and that was the key and coach Schoen said the Jets didn't execute all day.

Hauser squeeked out a 5-4 win against Waldron, going to 7-6. Hopefully they can stay above .500 after the next two tough games. They play at 9-3 MHC foe Indian Creek tomorrow and follow that up Friday with a game against 8-6 Columbus North.

I was able to catch the tail end of the game to see Hauser finish off the Braves 8-0. By all the accounts I heard it was the Jets' best game of the season, by far.
Hauser had probably it's best lineup on the field yesterday: Ross P Jake Miller C Gabe Miller 1B Lawson (?) 2B Jared Turner SS Nick Long 3B Blake Roth LF Kevin Raisor CF Scrougham (?) RF
The key to Hauser's season might very well lie in whether or not they can get a 2nd effective pitcher in the rotation.
Gabe had been missing some games and has still been having back problems.
8-6 Hauser hosts 9-7 Columbus North tomorrow. North is just coming off a 6-4 win against Martinsville and a tough 2-1 loss against cross-town rival East.

Aryn Ross throws his 2nd straight no-hit shutout (this one in 5 innings, the other was a full 7 innings against Indian Creek). Hauser goes to 9-7 with a 10-0 win over South Decatur.
Next up for Hauser- they host Batesville this afternoon (tough matchup with Ross unavailable to pitch). They then play Edinburgh on Friday, two at Morristown on Saturday. Monday and Tuesday they play North Decatur and Southwestern Shelby.

I've heard that Aryn Ross is throwing the fastball in the mid 80's so that's bringing the heat as a Jr. I bet he will throw many more no-hitters iver the next 2 years. He got his hair cut before the 1rst no-hitter so maybe he's found his lucky charm. To bad the Jets can't pitch him more but I think your just allowed 9 or 10 innings over 72 hours. I don't really know what the rule is.

I'm not sure what exactly the rule is either but Hauser can't over-work him anyway. His Dad was saying he's been having a little bit of trouble coming back from the amount of work he's been doing as it is... Not only is he by far the Jets best pitcher, Turner and Ross are pretty much neck-and-neck as being their best hitters.
