Clark from New Pal along with Lynn and Shipley from Brownsburg are probably the 3 top hitters in the state. Not sure about the kids from the small schools.

Clark is a great hitter, i havent seen the other two. Zach Taylor batted near 500 for Knightstown last year. He is not a power hitter, he just finds gaps.

Bball 5, are you from Knightstown? I have never heard of Zach Taylor, and if he hit close to .500 and returned to the lineup this past year what did he do? Can this kid play the feild too?

Eamon Osborne from Loogootee led the Blue Chip Conference in hitting, over .600 in conference play, .400+ season average. All as a Sophomore, he should be bigger & stronger as a Junior.

A younger player to look out for is Ryan Smith of Mitchell. Hit .370 as a freshman last season. Has gotten bigger and stronger since last season. Should be fun to watch him this season.

Jacob Mathers from Orleans.
4 year starter hit close to .500 as a junior when he is in center the other two outfielders can pretty much stay in the dugout and eat their popcorn

im sorry, but Jared Bael is by far the best. and as for the Loogootee kid, i have seen him play and he went ofer twice against Jasper and Lincoln.

Bael is a great hitter and as a senior already signed at U of E should be a hitting leader for the state. That being said no need to dog any of the other hitters, especially when your facts are off.
I don’t know who you seen go 0fer against Jasper & Lincoln, but Loogootee hasn’t played Jasper in years and Osborne was 1-2 against Lincoln, getting one of four Loogootee hits in a 17-0 loss (according to the Washington Times Herald).
All great hitters have “ofer” games and fail more times than they succeed at the plate. Back your team, root for your favorites, but Get Your Facts Straight..

Hauser will have two really good hitters coming back this year. Aryn Ross (P, 2B) and Jared Turner (SS, P).

Aryn Ross Hit 540, with 10 home runs, and went 8-2 with 100 Strikeouts. Jared Turner hit 475 in the lead off spot. Nick Long will also help anchor the pitching. Hauser will definitely be one of the top favorites this year.
When I attended the Loogootee Orleans game this year, I sat with the Spring Valley head basketball coach, who was their baseball coach. He said Orleans had everyone back and would be tough to beat. I cannot wait for the baseball season to start.
